We
meet eachother annually 1 or 2 times at different places
in Switzerland and neighbour countries. The organisation
was allways made by different members in different places.
We had the great pleasure to wellcome in 1975 Mr. Raymond
Loewy, coming with his Avanti from his office in Paris.
(see photo!) One of our members in France is still the
owner of Mr. Loewys 1963 personal Avanti car with special
features and plates inside!! An other famous visitor was
the US general Bill Holt, coming with the Avanti from
the place where he was stationed as commander of an US
military misson in Naples/Italy.
During our meetings we are allways visiting places of
great cultural interest such as Castles, monasteries,
museums and also nuclear power station. We celebrate funny
evenings at nice places, see the report form Chris Altenburg
in the 100th edition of Avanti magazine summer 1997!
next Meetings
Our next meetings will held in june 19/20est 2005 in very
special area of Switzerland and we will visit the very
famous watch museum.
The meeting in autumn will be organised by AOS president
Alfred Vacano in the aerea of Lake of Constance at 3./4.
of october 2005.
